Project context
This workstation concept supports a controlled product family through keyed quick-change tooling, recipe permissions and vision-based checks. It demonstrates a flexible architecture for engineering review and does not represent a delivered customer project.
Define the product family first
- Variant matrix covering common and different parts
- Datums, loading direction and allowed fixture changes
- Recipe ownership, operator permissions and changeover sequence
- Variant-specific inspection and acceptance requirements
Concept workstation architecture
01 / Change
Keyed fixture plates and defined connections reduce the chance of loading an incompatible nest or process module.
02 / Control
The selected identity controls the approved process recipe, enabled tooling, inspection rules and operator prompts.
03 / Verify
Vision and sensors verify critical components and record the result against the active product variant.
Validation and scope
Each variant is validated with its own workpieces, tooling, recipe and acceptance samples. The supported family, changeover method, process window and excluded combinations are documented before configuration freeze; final performance remains subject to the approved technical agreement.
